If this is a "what are you up to" thread:
I just bought a 07 sport trac with a v8. Brown. Not a whole bunch of gizmos. I had 3 to choose from since there aren;t too many around. 18,000 miles and under $20k. Still have ford warranty until august.
I'm putting zabeards custom exhaust (y-pipe all the way to muffler) into my truck but its been a pain. 2003 and 2004 are different as far as 02 sensors- how many and where they connect (who knew? never would have thunk it). I also added staineless silver ceramic coat headers to it. |

The black crank pulleys have been on order for about 2 months. I think they are at the anodizers so it should be soon.
If you are looking at the full kit- I ran out of black water pump pulleys and I am heavy on red and blue. The qty I have to order is pretty high so I have to wait.
But......water pump doesn't effect belt length. I would charge it later and ship it later. No double freight charges or anything. The end price delivered would be the same as the combo price. |

Tell me about it, but it's worth it, I hope.
Hopefully after 2 yrs of working with them I'mm be able to move within the company and just maybe might make my way back to Texas. Oh I work as a Reliability Engineer again and hopefully will gain some good knowledge that I can take with me anywhere. |

I think everyone is still in their winter haze. I know I am. It's hard to think about cars, trucks, or motorcycles when the world keeps getting covered in white. Except this week it's raining and now all the white stuff is running off and we're watching for floods. Life just don't get no better than this.  |

Well, I think about it, but I can't do anything about it.

It has been slow around here lately. I haven't owned a ranger since 2007 and I have found that there is not as much fanfare for guys who don't have rangers,,,, obviously. With that said I'm still a Ford guy for sure and still lurk around here.
My daily driver is a 1996 explorer V8 limited to which I'm dropping in a 347 stroker in it. Should be done in the coming months.
The motor is being built right now by Fordstrokers with Trick Flow fast as cast heads and trick flow intake. It will have a custom cam and other go fast parts. This project requires a host of other upgrades like fuel system, transmission, tuning, MAF, Throttle Body. etc.
I will post up additional info when its all done. |

got my pulleys on, but also found out that I need a new tensioner assembly, as mine is worn and not aligning properly. had to shim the tensioner pulley out a little so the belt wouldn't slip off.
Also replaced a busted fog light on the right side, and changed the left one to make it match lol. Took a sticker off due to fading, and put two more on the truck. Got the interior cleaned out/decluttered as well. |
