I know use a drill… LoL.

I have my Steppie Bed, I have OEM EDGE Fender Flares; I want to put the two together.

I was thinking, IF I put enough Masking Tape to cover the area the Flares would sit on, then tape the Flare in position to make sure it looks like I want it to.
Trace the outline of the flare and mark the locations of the OEM Mounting Holes.
The distance from the edge can b figured after the flares are removed.
Do you think this will work to get the Flares mounted to the Bed.

To tell you the truth I am a little nervous, if I screw up then I have a Bed Side with a bunch holes and, well a screwed up mess.

Anyone with any ideas on how to do an OEM Looking Job putting the Flares on the Fiber Fenders of the Steppie ?

Please any comment…

Thanks

I would make darn sure you are gonna like the end result. I've never seen a pic, but think it might not look right/good.

use painters tape, or a small amount of double sided tape at 1st and if you like the look then i'd say get the drill ready...

Thk to all for the comments.
I haven’t started this yet but will soon enough.
The Flares are from an EDGE Styleside bed (yes they fit the contours) and they are color matched so they won’t stand out like black ones.
I plan on tapeing them on first then walk around the truck for a day before drilling.
